Hello all!
We hope you've been enjoying your summer. We planned on opening registration tomorrow, however, we are in the process of switching our school software system and have run into a small glitch. As soon as that is resolved you will receive an email giving you your new username and password for SkyWard (formerly we used Lumen).
In the meantime feel free to review the handbook on the school website. You can also find school supply lists on the website. https://www.nauvoo-colusa.com/
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We look forward to greeting our new 7th graders and their parents at an orientation on August 13th from 5:30-6. Immediately following the 7th grade orientation we will host an open house from 6-7p.m. for all grades.

Memorial Gym Dedication
The Board of Education of Nauvoo-Colusa District 325 will be hosting a dedication of the gymnasium in honor of Mr. Stan Stambach. Mr. Stambach was a long time teacher and coach in the district.
The public is invited to the dedication ceremony on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Nauvoo-Colusa School. Cookies and punch will be served after the ceremony.
Please join us to honor Coach Stambach’s dedication to the school and community.

Registration dates and times will be announced soon. We are in the process of switching to Skyward for our student information system and we have some areas to finalize. Thank you for your patience.

Head to the Red Front in Nauvoo Thursday morning to enjoy a delicious breakfast and support the PTO!

Does your student want to participate in sports? Take advantage of Memorial Medical's walk-in sports physicals this summer.
It's a good idea to go ahead and get a sports physical even if you're unsure about sports participation, as they can't begin practice without one.

On our last day of school for students, May 28th, was also Ms. French's last day of teaching after 35 years of service! Our staff set up a beach chair and beach gear for her, while the entire school sang, "9 to 5," a song by Dolly Parton, to Ms. French to celebrate her last day and her retirement. She taught so many students and impacted the lives of everyone one of them. Thanks for the memories, Ms. French!

On our students' last day of school, May 28th, we had a few of our NCES PTO members come in to provide all students and staff with rootbeer/soda floats for all to enjoy on their last day! We sincerely appreciate our AWESOME PTO for all of their time, funds, and support they provide to our students and staff at NCES every year! Thank you, NCES PTO!!!

Congrats to our students in grades 3-8 who made the Honor Roll! NCES Honor Roll students are listed below and pictured, by grade level. Way to go, Gavin!

THANK YOU to all students, staff, and parents, who supported the 8th Grade Class Bake Sale at DJ's last night to raise funds for the memorial bench for Simon Bentzinger. We appreciate your time, efforts, and support for this great cause! Our students, staff, parents, and communities came together to raise a total of $4013.83!!! Thanks to all for your kindness and generosity to help us honor and remember Simon and his legacy.

Tomorrow, the Kindergarten through 6th grade will be having a field day in the morning. Students should dress in their team colors. Teachers should have let you know what color your child's team is wearing. Students on the white team should wear something underneath their whites, so we don't have any issues when we play water games. Students may want to bring an extra set of clothes to change into after the games are done. We will be outside most of the morning, so sunscreen is always a good idea.
