The deadline for the GBB state championship shirts has been extended to tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19th, at 8:30 a.m. Please turn in your order forms to Tacy or Vicky by this time.
The lunch tomorrow will no longer include a cinnamon roll. Everything else will be served as previously stated.
State Basketball T-Shirts are now available.
Please turn your order form in to the office by December 18th.
Next week (12/18-12/21) is our last week before Christmas break! We will be celebrating by doing fun dress-up days. See the image to know how to dress-up for each day.
Thursday 12/7 we will be holding a short pep-assembly at 2pm before we send the 7th grade girls off to play for the state championship title. The public is welcome to attend!
The Warsaw Jr High students will board the bus at 2:25 getting them to Warsaw at 2:55 which is about 30 minutes earlier than normal. The Nauvoo High School students will be dropped off in Nauvoo earlier than normal as well.
The team bus will leave at 3:30 and the fan bus will leave shortly after 4pm.
The Sports Boosters are paying for the cost of the bus as well as paying for admission for those riding the fan bus, however, your student will need to bring their own money for concessions or snacks if a stop is made on the way home.
The Hancock County Sheriff's department and the Warsaw Fire Department will be escorting the girls through Warsaw upon their return from the game. It will be late, but fans and families are encouraged to line up on main street in Warsaw to welcome the girls back!
An assembly will be held at 8am on Friday at the school (public welcome) to celebrate the accomplishments of the team.

The 7th grade girls state championship game will be play at Riverton High School in Riverton, IL on Thursday at 7:30pm. You can listen to the game through WCAZ radio station or join Central Illinois Sports on youtube to watch the game live.
The boys basketball home game against Hamilton originally scheduled for that day has been moved to December 19th.

Congrats to our 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team on making it to the "Elite 8" of the 7-2A IESA State Tournament! They will play at Riverton High School at 10:00 am Sat. Dec. 2nd vs. Lewistown. At Viking Time at NCES today, Mrs. Belshaw gave special turkey trophies to 2 student winners of her annual "Planksgiving Challenge" for all PreK-6 students who did planks for as long as they could during P.E. classes. In the first picture, left to right are Ms. Crim, Top Female PreK-6 Student: Nietzea Vinson, Top Male PreK-6 Student: Jacob Helms, and Mr. Schneider. In the other picture, Ms. Crim and Mr. Schneider did a Plank Challenge with Nietzea and Jacob, while Mrs. Belshaw cheered them on. Both students outplanked both staff members! Thank you to Mrs. Belshaw for running the Planksgiving Challenge and to Ms. Crim and Mr. Schneider for participating in the challenge. Congrats to Nietzea and Jacob for being the top plankers at NCES!
